AI life coach: see clearly, then take the next step
Tell Claire below what's holding you back: she replies with one to three concrete actions.

Going in circles? That’s where a coach helps
You’ve outgrown your job but can’t picture the next one. A personal project has been “starting next month” since spring. You have too many things on your plate, so you end up doing none of them. Or a conversation you dread keeps you awake.
In most of these situations, the problem isn’t a lack of willpower. It’s that things are blurry: too many options, no clear first step, constraints you haven’t put on the table. A coach doesn’t hand you the answer. They help you sort things out, choose, and take the next step.
A human coach usually means booking sessions in advance and paying for each one. Claire is there tonight, for ten minutes, and again tomorrow if you need her. She’s not a replacement for every kind of support, but she’s a good place to start thinking out loud.
What Claire does for you (and what she doesn’t)
Claire is one of the 25 AI coaches at Nation AI, specialized in the decisions and changes of everyday life, personal and professional. Her approach:
- A useful answer first. Write just “procrastination” and she gives you a lead right away. She asks a question only when the answer would really change her advice.
- One to three actions, not a 30-day program nobody asked for: what you can do today, and what can wait until later this week.
- Realistic over perfect. A schedule you’ll keep beats an ideal one you’ll drop by Wednesday.
- No guilt, no slogans. Procrastination isn’t “just laziness”, and confidence doesn’t come from “believe in yourself”.
- No armchair diagnoses. She won’t label your colleague, partner or mother as toxic or manipulative from three sentences.
- She doesn’t decide for you. She lays out the options, you choose.
The topics she covers: work and career change, organization and time management, procrastination and motivation, confidence and assertiveness, relationships and family, studies, habits and personal goals.
What she doesn’t do: therapy, medical or psychological diagnosis, legal advice, personalized financial advice. She can help you get organized before seeing a professional, for example by listing the questions to ask.
How to talk to Claire
Two words are enough to start. If you want a sharper answer, follow this model:
“My situation: [what’s going on]. What I want: [the goal]. What’s blocking me: [the obstacle]. My constraints: [time, money, family, energy].”
You can write in a few lines, or talk to her with the chat’s microphone; she replies in writing.
3 mini requests ready to copy
1) A decision: “I’ve been offered a job that pays 15% more, but with a 75-minute commute each way. I have two kids under 10. Help me compare the two options without deciding for me.”
2) Procrastination: “I’ve been putting off updating my portfolio for a month. I have 30 minutes tonight. What do I do first?”
3) A difficult conversation: “I need to tell my manager I can’t take on another project. Help me prepare what to say in three sentences, and how to answer if she pushes back.”
Adjust the answer without starting over
Stay in the same conversation and say what doesn’t fit: “simpler”, “just one action”, “I only have 10 minutes a day”, “be more direct”, “that won’t work for me because I work nights”. Claire adapts her plan instead of starting from scratch.
Coaching by situation
Changing careers
“I want to change careers but don’t know where to start” is one of the most common requests. Claire helps you list what you want to keep and what you want to leave behind, spot the skills that transfer, then pick one small test before quitting anything: a coffee with someone in the field, a short online course, a weekend project.
Procrastination and motivation
Claire breaks the task down until the first step takes less than five minutes (“open the file and write the title”), helps you decide when you’ll do it rather than just what, and looks for what makes starting harder: a distraction, a fear of doing it badly, a step that’s still unclear.
Organization and time
Send her your to-do list as it is, even a messy one. She sorts it into “must do”, “should do” and “can wait”, then builds a week with breathing room, because a schedule with no margin falls apart at the first surprise.
Confidence and assertiveness
Prepare the sentence to say no, to ask for a raise, or to speak up in a meeting. Then rehearse: ask Claire to play your manager, your landlord or your teenager, and try your answer.
Relationships and family
A tense conversation with a partner, a parent who calls five times a day, a sibling you’ve drifted from: Claire helps you find words that say what you need without accusing. For dating questions, Anna, the dating coach, is a better fit.
Habits and goals
“Get fit”, “read more”, “spend less time on my phone”: Claire turns a vague resolution into a small habit tied to something you already do, like ten pages after dinner or a walk after your morning coffee.
A 10-minute weekly check-in with Claire
Coaching works through follow-up. Once a week, for example on Sunday evening:
- Paste last week’s plan, or summarize it in two lines.
- Say what worked and what didn’t, without judging yourself.
- Ask Claire for the one priority of the coming week, and when you’ll do it.
Keep your notes from one week to the next and start each check-in with them: Claire works from what you tell her, so a short recap gives her the full picture.

Pricing: free trial, then paid plans if you need them
The trial is free, with no sign-up: no account, no email, no card. A few free messages are included, enough to work through a first situation with Claire and see if her style suits you. For regular use, commitment-free paid plans are available: all the details are on the pricing page.
Limits and good practices
- Claire isn’t a therapist. If anxiety, low mood, exhaustion or sleep problems last more than a couple of weeks, talk to a doctor or a mental health professional.
- In a crisis, reach a person. If you’re thinking about suicide or self-harm, or you’re in danger, call your local emergency number (911 in the US and Canada, 999 or 112 in the UK, 112 in India and the EU, 000 in Australia) or a helpline: 988 in the US (call or text), 9-8-8 in Canada, Samaritans on 116 123 in the UK and Ireland, Lifeline on 13 11 14 in Australia, Tele-MANAS on 14416 in India, or Find A Helpline elsewhere. Claire will tell you the same thing.
- Legal and money questions: Claire helps you get organized, but a contract, a dispute or an investment calls for a professional.
- You stay in charge. Claire suggests, you decide. Like any AI, she can be wrong or miss part of your situation.
- Mind other people’s privacy. When you describe a conflict, there’s no need for full names or personal details. Your conversations are not used to train AI, and you can delete your history whenever you want.

Frequently asked questions
What is an AI life coach?
An AI life coach is a chatbot that helps you clarify a situation, set a goal and choose concrete next steps, in your personal or professional life. Claire, Nation AI’s life coach, answers in a few lines with one to three realistic actions. She doesn’t decide for you, and she doesn’t replace a therapist.
Is an AI life coach as good as a human coach?
It’s different. Claire is available at any time, answers right away and costs far less than a series of sessions. A human coach brings a real relationship, intuition and follow-up over months. Many people use an AI coach between sessions, or as a first step.
Can I try Claire for free?
Yes: a few free messages are included, with no account, email or card. For regular use, commitment-free paid plans are listed on the pricing page.
What can I ask Claire?
Anything that keeps you stuck: a career change, procrastination, organization, confidence, a difficult conversation, a family tension, a goal that stays vague. Start with a sentence or even two words, and she builds from there.
Is Claire a therapist?
No. Claire is a coach: she helps you move forward on concrete situations, but she doesn’t diagnose or treat anything. For lasting distress, see a doctor or a mental health professional; in a crisis, call a helpline or your local emergency number.
Will Claire tell me what to do?
She’ll suggest actions, but the decision stays yours. For a choice, she lays out the options with their pros and cons, and asks what matters most to you.
Are my conversations private?
Your conversations are not used to train AI, and you can delete your history whenever you want. Avoid sharing other people’s full names or sensitive details when you describe a situation.
Is Nation AI the same as ChatGPT?
No. Nation AI is an independent service designed in France. It runs on GPT models, with Mistral as a backup, without being affiliated with OpenAI. Claire is one of its 25 specialized AI coaches.
